Oleksandr Usyk W PTS 12 Derek Chisora
Fight Notes: Chisora all over him, Usyk struggling. Chisora 1st round. Chisora roughing him up, Usyk finding a rhythm but to me still a Chisora round 2. Chisora still throwing bombs but Usyk landing more. Usyk takes round 3. chisora slowing abit and Usyk now landing, starting to take him apart and takes round 4. Chisora starting to blow and Usyk doing his thing…angles, movement. Usyk round 5. Again, Chisora blowing, holding and hitting, but Usyk in a rhythm and takes round 6. Usyk for the first time had Chisora on the ropes and was unloading. The tide is turning. An easy Usyk round. Usyk planting his shots and firing harder punches for another round for Usyk as the fight turns. Usyk starting to tire with Chisora still chugging away and roughing…even round (9). Grueling 10th…even. Chisora can hardly stand but kept to his promise and is throwing leather but just, an Usyk round 11. Grueling last round and an even 12th.
We had Usyk winning it 118-113 (unofficial scorecard).
Official score was 117-112, 115-113, 115-113 for a unanimous decision win for Usyk.
