5-0 Dmytro Zubko faces Achiko Odikadze for UBO regional title on Dec. 8

Kiev, Ukraine – 8 December 2021

Accomplished in the amateurs, highly regarded Ukrainian prospect Dmytro Zubko (5-0, 3 KOs) doesn’t plan on wasting any time in the pro ranks.

On December 8 in Kiev, less than a year after making his paid debut, Zubko will step up a level and fight for the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) International Welterweight title.

The Twenty-five year old has beaten fellow undefeated up-and-comers in his two most recent bouts, but in his first title fight he will be in with a very experienced opponent.

In the opposite corner will be Georgian Achiko Odikadze (23-18-1, 8 KOs), who has fought very good opposition since his debut in 2015, and is coming off a victory this past October.

Besides being vastly more experienced, Odikadze (22) is a southpaw and expected to present a genuine challenge for Zubko, who by many is predicted to be a future world champion.

The Zubko vs. Odikadze UBO International Welterweight title fight will be promoted by Champion Boxing Promotions.
