Last Saturday a historical card was held in the city of Mogi Mirim, São Paulo-Brazil.
For the first time, 3 WBC FECONSUR titles were contested on the same evening plus 1 more WBC Latino Title!
The event welcomed the eternal Champion Eder Jofre “El Gallo de Oro”, the first WBC World Bantamweight Champion (1963) and WBC World Featherweight Champion (1973).
It featured a total of 7 Title fights (including the Brazilian CNB titles) plus WBC Titles in the main fights, and for the first time, Brazilian television broadcast the 7 title fights live, a milestone for Boxing. Brazilian.
In the main fight we had:
Yamaguchi Falcão “Guchi” vs. Gilberto Pereira Dos Santos “Yorubá”
* WBC FECONSUR Title – Super Middleweight (vacant).
* WBC LATINO Title – Super Middleweight (vacant).
-Supervisor: Geyza Caryny
* Winner: Yamaguchi Falcão became the new WBC FECONSUR and WBC LATINO
Champion of the Super Middleweight division, with a victory viaUnanimous
Decision (UD), in a 10-round fight.
Yamaguchi Falcão – Bronze Medal in Londres-2012, he became WBC LATINO
Champion – Middleweight. He is now in the quest of the super
middleweight glory.
WBC FECONSUR Championship Defense – Welterweight:
Fernando Luis Pinto “Cruel” vs. Sergio Dos Santos Carvalho “O Titan”
* WBC FECONSUR Title – Welterweight
-Supervisor: Geyza Caryny
* Winner: Fernando Luis Pinto defended his WBC FECONSUR Championship of
the Welter Division, with a victory via UD.
With this title defense bout, Fernando proved to be the best
welterweight in Brazil and hopes to climb to best positions in the WBC
World Ranking.
WBC FECONSUR Title – Super Lightweight:
Pedro Guilherme Dos Santos “Magrelo” vs. Adauto Silva Dos Santos “Cabelo
De Fogo”
-Supervisor: Geyza Caryny.
Pedro Guilherme Dos Santos became the new WBC FECONSUR Champion of the
Super Light division, with a victory via UD.
With this victory, Pedro Guilherme Dos Santos, who is only 20 years old
and who comes from the social project (Arte Da Luta) has already been a
Brazilian Championship, proved to be one of the brightest boxing prospects in
the region, and will soon be looking for the WBC Youth World Title.The event was broadcast live on TV BAND SPORTS.

This was its 4th Edition: Arte Do Boxe, promoted by Mrs. Kamila Kamile Almeida and supported by Mr. Marcio Evandro Ribeiro.Event Inspector: Mike Miranda Jr – Representative of the WBC in Brazil and member of WBC FENCONSUR.
