Adrien Broner Back Behind Bars With $13 To His Name (Supposedly)

Yet again, four-division world champion Adrien Broner is back behind bars, this time for contempt of court. A woman who claimed she was sexually assaulted by Broner won an $800,000 judgment against him in December, but so far he hasn’t paid a dime claiming on October 5th in court that all the cash he had totaled $13.

Problem is, Broner posted on social media a large pile of cash (nothing changes) so Broner was rapidly recalled to court with an explanation needed. The excuse of “wealthy people keep sending him money” did not wash well with Judge Nancy Margaret. Broner further claimed that he was not lying previously in court and that was all the money he had at the time.

Broner must now remain in jail until he can provide full and complete financial information.
