WBC featherweight champion, Amanda Serrano, will defend against WBC super bantamweight world champion Yamileth Mercado, this Sunday, August 29, at the “Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse” in Cleveland, Ohio.

The champion Serrano showed in a public training, that she is in phenomenal shape.

“Jake Paul is the main event, but not the main attraction. I’m going to make sure I steal the spotlight and attract people to enjoy women’s boxing and understand that women can fight and put on shows, and show that we deserve this opportunity.

“A Puerto Rican champion against a Mexican champion is a guarantee of drama. She is young, she is hungry and she wants my titles, but I have worked very hard and it will not be an easy task to beat me.

“I bring excitement, knockout power, skills and also possess a great chin. I’ve been boxing since I was eighteen. Boxing is all I have ever known. I have dedicated and sacrificed my whole life to the sport of boxing.”

In the main event on the same card, YouTuber Superstar Jake Paul will face former UFC World Champion Tyron Woodley.

The fight, which is promoted by Most Valuable Promotions, will be broadcast on SHOWTIME PPV.
