Archie Sharp fight rescheduled for July 10
Archie Sharp vs. Marcio Soza
Archie Sharp’s clash with Marcio Soza for the vacant WBO Global super-featherweight title will now take place at the Royal Albert Hall in London next month.
The pair will go head to head live on BT Sport on Saturday 10 July, on a Queensberry Promotions show that is being co-headlined by Lyndon Arthur and Anthony Yarde.
Sharp was scheduled to face Soza last week, before a positive COVID test for the Nicaraguan meant that the fight has to be pushed back.
Sharp was last in action in August, earning a points victory over Jeff Ofori, while he also holds wins against the likes of Artjoms Ramlavs, Declan Geraghty, Jordan McCorry and Lyon Woodstock during his career.
Promoter Frank Warren said: “Archie is a Queensberry fighter high in the world rankings and providing he keeps winning and remains patient his chance will come.”
