Artem Harutyunyan vs. Oliver Flores

Artem Harutyunyan and Oliver Flores will fight for the vacant World Boxing Association (WBA) international lightweight title on Saturday at Universum Gym in Hamburg, Germany.

Universum company is organizing the event in the German city and will have Harutyunyan as the featured attraction in a good fight against Flores.

Harutyunyan is a native of Armenia but emigrated very young to Germany, where he adopted the nationality and represented them in the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, event in which he won the bronze medal.

The undefeated 30-year-old has already fought for regional titles in other organizations and is moving steadily forward in his intention for a title shot in the short term.

First he will have to defeat Flores, a former world challenger who is on a three-fight winning streak. The Nicaraguan has fought opponents such as Feliz Verdejo, Miguel Berchelt or Takashi Uchiyama in the past, who stand out as rivals in his great record.

Harutyunyan is undefeated with 9 wins, 6 by knockout. Flores, on the other hand, has 30 wins, 3 setbacks, 2 draws and 19 wins by knockout.
