Azizbek Abdugofurov Ready to Defend WBC Silver Title

The silver super middleweight champion of the World Boxing Council, Uzbek Azizbek Abdugofurov (13-0, 5 KOs), will defend his title against the undefeated Pavel Silyagin (6-0 4 KOs), this Saturday, March 20, at the Khodynka Ice Palace of Moscow, Russia.

It will be on the billboard Beterbiev vs. Deines.

Azizbek conquered the WBC Silver title in November 2018 by defeating Chinese Wuzhati Nuerlang.

In August 2019, he knocked out Russian Gasan Gasanov in 4 rounds.

Pavel Silyagin, one of Russia’s strongest prospects, comes to this fight after defeating Venezuelan Omar Garcia by knockout in January this year.
