Jean Pascal vs. Badou Jack 2 Cancelled
Former world champion Badou Jack has announced that his June 6 rematch which was a world title challenge against current WBA light heavyweight champion Jean Pascal is cancelled due to three substances found in a drugs test.
Jack wrote Twitter: “My fight with Jean Pascal is OFF as he tested positive for three different steroids. We suspected he was dirty the first time around and VADA testing confirmed it this time. I’m still fighting on June 6th and my team is looking for a replacement opponent.
” By the way … it wasn’t the first time this had happened to me. Lucien Bute took steroids for our fight and now Jean Pascal. Are you all so scared of having a fair fight with me that you all have to take steroids? ”
Pascal has reportedly tested positive for Drostanolone, Drostanolone Metabolite A and Epitrenbolone.
Jack is seeking a replacement opponent for the June 6 fight date.
