Boxing Promoter Mike Acri Passes

Sad to report that promoter Mike Acri has passed away after a long illness.. He was just 63.

Mike directed Roberto Durán, Héctor Camacho, Paul Spadafora, among many others. His word was his bond, his love for boxing was total and he was greatly admired.

The World Boxing Council and its President Mauricio Sulaimán, offer their deepest condolences to Mike`s family and many friends for this irreparable loss.
