Abraham Buonarrigo Defeats Wenceslao Mansilla
In a nine-round bout in Argentina, two local fighters fought for the vacant World Boxing Association regional belt in the Light Heavyweight division.
The winner, by unanimous decision of the judges, was Abraham “Turco” Buonarrigo, a young prospect who had to fight a difficult opponent of great experience, his fellow countryman Wenceslao Mansilla. This was the main fight of an event that took place on Saturday night in Villa Gobernador Galvez, province of Santa Fe, Argentina, with former world champion Juan Carlos Reveco as co-feature.
Buonarrigo won his first title, which places him in the race for greater challenges.
