WBC super middleweight champion, Saul Alvarez is committed to and concentrating on defending his crown against Turkish Avni Yildirim on February 27 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

Avni who reaches this commitment with a record of 21 wins, 12 of them via KO and only two losses, one of them for the WBC world title, against Anthony Dirrell, and another against Chris Eubank, arrives as a dangerous rival. Although not favorite, he has everything to gain and he is determined.
He`s brought in Mexican coach Joel Díaz, who has worked with Tim Bradley, Ruslan Provodnikov, Omar Figueroa, Lucas Matthysse and Francisco Vargas.
Saul is confident and convinced that he will be victorious, although he respects all rivals. It’s a confidence reinforced by work, dedication, punching power plus ring craft experience, combined With the sage and astute strategy of his coach Eddy Reynoso.
