Srisaket Sor Rungvisai vs. Carlos Cuadras
Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona, USA – 5 February 2022
Former world champion, Carlos Cuadras, is training exceeding hard for the fight that he will have against Thai Srisaket Sor Rungvisai, for the super flyweight title of the World Boxing Council, on February 5 at the Footprint Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
It is a fight between former world champions, in which they have already faced each other and the winner turned out to be the Mexican in 2014. So now he will try to repeat the same dose, in order to recover the world crown.
Carlos is already in the heights of the Otomí Ceremonial Center, where he is carrying out intense preparation for such an important duel, explained coach Manuel López, who will be by his side throughout the month of January so that the boxer arrives in excellent physical shape.
“We are working hard on speed and kickback. We are fine-tuning strategy, correcting mistakes and working hard to keep Carlos in excellent condition. We are going to bring that championship to Mexico,” said López.
“The Thai is very strong. We know his capabilities, his style, he has a punch, we are going to work on those aspects and others, to counter Rungvisai.”
