Charlo & Castaño Aim To Unify Super Welterweight Division

JERMELL CHARLO vs. BRIAN CASTANO

Jermell Charlo (34-1-0, 18 ko’s), WBC, WBA and IBF super welterweight champion, will face Argentinean Brian Castaño (17-0-1, 12 ko`s), WBO champion, in a historic fight to gauge who`s  the best fighter at 154 pounds.

The fight will take place on July 17 at a venue to be defined in the United States.

Charlo is coming off an important eighth round knockout win over Jeison Rosario in September of last year.

While Castaño has just defeated Brazilian Patrick Teixeira by decision, in an exceptional fight.

It`ll  air on Showtime and is presented by Premier Boxing Champions.
