Charlo & Castaño Clash For Super Welterweight Supremacy

Jermell Charlo vs. Brian Castaño

American Jermell Charlo (34-1-0, 18 KOs), WBC, WBA and IBF super welterweight champion, will face Argentinian Brian Castaño (17-0-1, 12 KOs), WBO champion, in an historic fight.

Charlo is coming off an important eighth round knockout win over Jeison Rosario in September of last year. Castaño comes from defeating Brazilian Patrick Teixeira by decision, in an excellent fight.

The fight, presented by Premier Boxing Champions, will take place on July 17 at a venue to be defined in the United States and will be broadcast on Showtime.
