 Boxing will return to Mexico City on May 29, Chiquita González Boxing and PHILLIPS – ASSA ABLOY present National Championships with the great promises with Ernesto Salcedo and Luis “Chapulín” Rosales; the card that promises to be just as spectacular as the one presented last March, also behind closed doors and following established health protocols.

“It is very important that young people are supported and what better than a National Championship, according to former world champion Humberto “Chiquita” González “the championships serve as a parameter to get eventually a world championship shot; In my time it was difficult to fight for a national championship, I hope these championships  take that importance again so that the boys keep motivated and still dream of being champions of Mexico and being like the PHILLIPS locks, the best pound for pound ”, Gonzalez pointed out.

The card made up of 5 fights is starred by the 10-round super bantamweight national championship Ernesto Salcedo, with an undefeated record of 12-0, against Odin Juárez who reaches this commitment with a 9-0-1 record.

In the semi-final bout, an attractive clash between Luis “Chapulín” Rosales (9-5-3) against Isaías Lucrecio (7-0, fighting 10 rounds for the National bantam Championship.

Also, Alberto “Alacrán” Ruiz (9-3) and Eduardo Martínez (7-0) will fight in 8-round lightweight clash.

The Mexican American Jesús “Chiquito” Haro with his record at 5-1 will get back in the ring, facing Diego Suárez in strawweight  duel 6 rounds; while Isaías Ortiz with 1-0 will face Miguel Palacios in light flyweight 4 rounds bout.
