Claressa Shields to fight in UK next, fight with Savannah Marshall in 2022

Two -time Olympic and world champion in three divisions Claressa Shields, will participate in important fight nights with Sky Sports, one of the most prestigious TV outlets in the United Kingdom.

Shields will appear on cards presented by the new firm called BOXXER, a British promotional company that has a contract with Sky Sports.

Shields, whose promoter is Dmitry Salita, joins a group of Boxxer that includes middleweight contender Chris Eubank Jr., Hughie Fury, and Savannah Marshall (10-0, 8 Kos), who defeated Shields in amateur boxing. .

“We want to make a great UK debut before the Savannah fight and we are on track for that to happen before the end of the year,” Salita told Sky Sports. “After that, our plan is for the next fight to be against Savannah. That is the plan and that is what we want.

“Claressa, being the champion that she is, has no problem going to the UK to her hometown of Savannah. She will take care of business and come home with her four belts.”
