Deal Reached For Luke Campbell vs Ryan Garcia For November But Purse Bids Delayed (Again)

After the seven day extension that was requested and granted, Golden Boy Promotions and Matchroom Boxing have had to cancel and extend once more.

The only clarification that was given today was the fight date, or as is the case here, the date narrowed down to a period. The plan is for the two fighters to meet between the middle to end of November.

A step forward I guess…

“We have reached a deal,” Roberto Diaz, executive matchmaker for Golden Boy. “I’m sorry to say, it looks like we have to cancel this again.”

“To give everyone a bit of clarity, we had some issues with the contract we sent to Golden Boy,” clarified Eddie Hearn. “The fight will take place in America. Robert and Eric Gomez (president of GBP) will work on that. The date will be middle-to-end of November.”

“I’m positive I got a fight with Luke Campbell,” García tweeted. “FINALLY DONE! Wooooo about time we sign some papers.”
