Swiss Faton Vukshinaj won the Francophone Middleweight title, endorsed by the World Boxing Council, by knocking out Romanian Florin Cardos in the second round at the Grand Casino Basel in Switzerland.

Faton won the first round on all three judges’ scorecards, showing Florin a better start by punishing his opponent.
In the second round the Swiss boxer managed to connect with power, sending his opponent to canvass. Florin stood up only to receive more punishment and was knocked down again. The Referee decided to stop the fight.
The match Supervisor was WBC Vice President Houcine Houichi. The card was promoted by Sevkan Mengucek.
