Fearsome and Fearless Rey Martinez

 The highlight of “Coffee Tuesday”, was neither shaken nor stirred WBC flyweight champion Rey Martínez, who confirmed that he is now totally recovered from the fractured right hand he suffered.

And, let’s remember that the champion was scheduled to defend his title against the Puerto Rican McWilliams Arroyo, on the Canelo vs. Yildirím, in Miami, Florida; However, an injury to his right hand, prevent him to fight.

 Today, Rey assures that this bad streak is behind him and that he is ready to give the public a great performance because twice previously, fights against Arroyo have have not crystallized. It`s not been for lack of desire or the slightest trace of fear, but due to circumstances, completely out of their hands. 

 When he first learned that he could not fight he felt deeply disappointed and sad, but today, he finally sees the light at the end of the tunnel and vows to return stronger than ever, in order to give his fans the fight they deserve to see.
