Finally the A-Side, Stanislav Eschner aims to claim UBO title July 10
Stanislav Eschner vs. Jozef Jurko
Clarion Congress Hotel in Usti nad Labem, Czech Republic 10/7/21
Czech war-horse Stanislav Eschner is used to going into his opponents back-yard to fight, but on July 10 at the Clarion Congress Hotel in Usti nad Labem, about an hour from his home-town Prague, he will be the A-side for once.
On a card promoted by former European and WBO World Champion Lukas Konecny, Eschner (14-15-1, 7 KOs) will take on Slovakian Jozef Jurko (6-2, 4 KOs) for the vacant Universal Boxing Organization™ (UBO) International Light Heavyweight title.
While his record may not look impressive, Eschner has faced a lot of good opponents since turning pro in 2016, eleven of them undefeated.
Most recently, last August, he came up short against current WBA & IBO World Champion Robin Krasniqi, but was only fourteen seconds away from going the full distance with the German.
Also a professional bare knuckle fighter, the 32-year-old nicknamed “Bull”, is a warrior through and through, and he will be looking to put on a spectacular performance in front of his home fans.
Eschner vs. Jurko will be the co-featured bout, along with a fight for the Czech Middleweight title between Viktor Agateljan and Tomas Bezvoda.
