Hall of fame promoter Frank Warren is planning a monster March with FOUR knockout shows.

Queensberry stable aces Daniel Dubois, Tyson Fury and Anthony Yarde are all likely to be in action on the blockbuster cards.

In April, two of Queensberry’s WBO number one contenders, Super-Middleweight Zach Parker and Heavyweight Joe Joyce will return.

Warren said: “It is looking very healthy in the camp for March and April, providing everyone stays healthy. We don’t want more COVID.”

Queensberry planned to kick off 2022 next month, but the British Boxing Board of Control’s decision to shelve boxing in January forced changes.

Warren is looking at staging a huge event in association with Top Rank on Saturday March 26 featuring WBC World Heavyweight champion, Fury.

Seven days earlier on Saturday March 19, WBA number one Heavyweight contender Daniel Dubois returns in London, possibly against regular World champion Trevor Bryan.

“I have not heard anything official, but I have seen the ratings and Daniel is the official challenger at number one with the WBA,” Warren said.

“He will fight on March 19 in London. We would like Daniel to fight Bryan but if not hopefully we can get it to purse bids. Whatever happens he fights that day.

“Hamzah Sheeraz will probably be on that bill and hopefully Dennis McCann recovers from his hand injury.

“Anthony Yarde is mandatory challenger for the WBO Light-Heavyweight title and will definitely fight in March. He won’t sit around waiting. He could be on the same show as Daniel.

“Once we know where we are with Daniel’s fight we will get it announced and tickets on sale, but all our young guys will be busy in March when we stage four shows.”

April is also stacked with Warren making big meaningful fights for future World title hopefuls Parker and Joyce.

He added: “Zach is number one contender and we’re waiting to see if Demetrius Andrade is interested in fighting him for the WBO interim title. That is something we’re really interested in doing.

“Zach is in a good position and I will speak with him and his manager Neil Marsh. He is due to fight on April 23 at a new stadium in Derby.

“He is in good fights and does good TV viewing figures, but we want to start building an audience in Derby.

“Joe broke his wrist and I’m hoping he will be available to fight late April or early May against a ranked opponent in London. We want to get him out and keep him busy.

“He is number one with the WBO and he is watching the Oleksandr Usyk situation with interest.

“We have Daniel at number one with the WBA and Joe in that position with the WBO. They are in a great position in the Heavyweight rankings.”
