Yoel Finol vs. Luis Gerardo Castillo Weights

Puerto Colombia is ready for ” Fuego en el Caribe” (Fire in the Caribbean). The official weigh-in for the event where Venezuelan Yoel Finol and Mexican Luis Gerardo Castillo´s fight will feature the World Boxing Association (WBA) Fedebol super flyweight title took place this Friday.
Finol weighed 113.8 pounds while Castillo weighed 115 exactly, which leaves them both qualified to fight for the regional title of the pioneer organization.
The 24-year-old South American will be making his fourth professional fight and his first fight for a belt. He will fight against an experienced opponent like the Mexican, who comes with more than 30 fights in his record and eager to win this title.
In addition to the main event, there will be two more WBA regional titles. Cuban Lenier Peró will defend his WBA-Fedelatin belt against Colombian Dumar Carrascal.
In the super welterweight division, Argentina’s Francisco Torres will fight Colombia’s Alexi Rivera for the Fedecaribe belt, while Argentina’s Kevin Muñoz will face Colombia’s Rober Barrera in the super flyweight division.
Other important young Latin boxing talents will be in action. Among them are Colombian Veronica Zuluaga, Paulina Angel, Colombian John Lenon Gutierrez and Venezuelan Andru Solarte, who will participate in the main event fights.
“Fuego en el Caribe” has the support of the WBA and will be another event of the WBA Challenge, a program of the governing body that seeks to promote Latin American talents in favor of the development of boxing in the continent.
