“God Willing I Get My Hands on That Tyson Fury” – Anthony Joshua
With Kubrat Pulev insisting to not accept step aside money for an Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury fight to happen (Pulev is Joshua’s mandatory), if both Joshua and Fury are victorious in December (Fury hopefully will finally put the Deontay Wilder situation to rest with a third fight as there is a rematch clause in place) then finally (hopefully) all this heavyweight mess will clear.
These December dates are just provisional and the longer it is not confirmed, the higher the chance of this all moving into 2021 will happen. At that point they will both have been out of the ring for approximately a year (Joshua last fought in December and Fury in February).
“There’s a potential date coming up, I’m looking to be out in December,” Joshua told Sky Sports. “I like to compete against the best.
“Pulev is a world title challenger as well. I’ve beaten five champions now and Pulev is another tough challenge, which leads me on to another challenge, which is a champion.
“God willing I get my hands on that Tyson Fury and his WBC belt, so I’m just loving it, I can’t wait. This is what I live for, this is my passion. I feel like this is my calling.”
