RESULT: “The Champ” added yet another KO to his resume with the beatdown on Schwartzberg in the 2nd round from a speedy left hook. The bout was stopped by referee Albert Brown at the 2:55 mark of the 2nd round. Lee brought it to Schwartzberg with a combo of jabs to the body.

RESULT: Vanegas Nunez was all business on Friday night with one goal in mind. With a brutal left strike to Oates body, Vanegas Nunez came out victorious early by TKO at the 2:46 mark in the 1st round. The footwork and pressure set out by Vanegas Nunez was the ultimate factor in this bout.

RESULT: Going the distance, the main event between “Heavy Hands” and Maddox included several momentum shifts making for a spectacular conclusion to Bergen County Fight Night 2. Burke and Maddox traded blows round by round, resulting in going to the official scorecards. Referees scored 58-56, 59-55 and 59-55 all in favor of Harley Burke.
INITIAL THOUGHTS – POST FIGHT QUOTE: “So relieved, There was a lot of pressure for me coming into this. I haven’t gone past the first round since the amateurs back in 2018. I never fought in front of my family and friends before, all my fights were down south. So first time with the crowd, first time main event, first time going past the first round. Overwhelmed, just so happy.”
This was his first bout that went past the first round after disposing his previous six opponents.
