Hebert Conceição has weighed in ahead of his highly anticipated professional debut in Dubai tomorrow night.

The Olympic gold medallist faces Abdelghani Saber over six rounds at Caesers Palace Dubai, as he begins his journey in the paid ranks.

Conceição’s paid debut is causing a buzz of excitement in his native Brazil and the 24-year-old is ready to become an ‘idol’ of the sport in his homeland.

Both the champion from the Tokyo Games, and Saber, tipped the scales at just over 164lbs on Friday ahead of their contest tomorrow night, which is scheduled to start at just after 10pm local time.

Conceição will campaign at title level as a middleweight, initially.
