“I Will Be Fighting in December” – Tyson Fury Speaks
The news quickly hit the headlines yesterday that the date of December 19th is OFF for the third installment of Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder 3. This information came from Bob Arum (Top Rank) himself (click > here <).
Upon hearing this, Fury has come out and said the following:
“I’m in very good shape and I’m ready to fight right now but I keep hearing different stories about what’s happening in my career,” Fury told talkSPORT.
“I’m supposed to be boxing on December 19 against Deontay Wilder in the trilogy but every two days I hear something different.
“The one thing I want to announce to the world is that I will be fighting in December, whether its Deontay Wilder in Las Vegas or Joe Bloggs in England.
“If they want to put ti back until next year, I want to fight now, next week or the next couple of months.
“I’ve made it very clear that if we can’t do it in America, I want a homecoming in England.”
The clock is ticking and December is becoming closer that is putting this year in serious doubt. Are they really going to announce such a huge fight with 8-10 weeks notice? Make your mind up on that one.
The fight does not need selling but the chances of the fight happening in 2020 become slimmer each day that passes.
