The Jermell Charlo and Brian Castaño served up a classic in San Antonio, Texas, in a fight that ended in a draw, so it’s inevitably crucial to move on to the decider.

Despite the fact that both champions have to make mandatory defenses, they agreed that they want to get into the ring again to define who is the best super welterweight in the world.

“Of course I would love to have a rematch with Castaño. I don’t know when, but I would love to get in the ring and fight him again,” Charlo commented.

Castaño said: “It was a great fight. I don’t know what Charlo’s plans are, but I need the 3 belts that he has. I’m ready for a rematch and I hope it can happen soon.”

Although there was no rematch clause in the contract, this was a bout that the fans really liked, so a rematch could soon take place on this hit “Showtime Championship Boxing” show.”
