José Zepeda & Hank Lundy Both Make Weight Ahead Of Tomorrow

José “Chon” Zepeda (33-2, 26 KOs, 2 NC) will defend his World Boxing Council Silver super lightweight title, against experienced Hank Lundy (31-8-1, 14 KOs), tomorrow May 22 at Virgin Hotels, from Las Vegas, Nevada, on the same card starring eaJosé Ramírez and Josh Taylor.

Zepeda triumphed in the most extraordinary fight last year, by knocking out Ivan Baranchyk in the fifth round on October 9 at the MGM Grand Conference Center, Las Vegas, in a battle testing get up and go, bouncing back eight times!

Lundy, is an experienced capable fighter who has faced a great level of opposition against Terence Crawford, Viktor Postol, Thomas Dulorme, among a lot of others.

Both fighters were chipper at the official weigh-in on Friday. Zepeda logged 140 pounds (In his second attempt), while Lundy twigged 139.
