Kieron Conway Clashes with Souleymane Cissokho on Canelo Undercard

Kieron Conway vs. Souleymane Cissokho

Kieron Conway will take on Souleymane Cissokho on the Canelo Alvarez vs. Billy Joe Saunders undercard next month.

The highly-anticipated event takes place at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Saturday 8 May, and will be broadcast worldwide on DAZN.

It sees Conway (16-1-1, 3 KOs) defend his WBA Intercontinental super-welterweight title, looking to build on his impressive wins over Nav Mansouri and Macaulay McGowan in 2020.

He now turns his attention to Cissokko (12-0, 8 KOs), with the two men finally getting the chance to step in the ring after their fight in December was unable to take place.

Promoter Eddie Hearn said: “It’s a stacked night of action at the home of the Dallas Cowboys on Cinco De Mayo weekend.

“The clash between Kieron and Souleymane is a cracker, and I am thrilled for both of them that they get to perform on this stage – there will be some spice there after it was postponed in December and now, they get their hands on each other in Texas.”
