Lindolfo Delgado vs. Salvador Briceno

Lindolfo Delgado will make his long-awaited return to the ring this weekend when he squares off against Salvador Briceno.
The pair will meet at The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas on Saturday, in what will be Delgado’s Las Vegas and Top Rank debut.
Delgado (11-0, 11 KOs) was one of Mexico’s standout talents at the 2016 Olympics, emerging from the Games in Rio as one of the sport’s most highly sought-after prospects.
He’s lived up to the billing thus far, knocking out five of his first eight foes in three rounds or less, with his elite body work being the catalyst for a lot of his stoppages.
Delgado has not fought since September 2019 on the Errol Spence Jr.-Shawn Porter undercard, when he defeated Jesus Zazueta Anaya over six one-sided rounds.
He now meets Briceno (17-6, 11 KOs) who has gone the distance against top prospects Josue Vargas, Gabriel Flores, Jr. and Yomar Alamo, and has been stopped just once in nearly eight years.
Elsewhere on the card, heavyweight Guido Vianello (7-0-1, 7 KOs) is back in action, as he goes up against Dante Stone (5-1, 3 KOs).
Vianello is looking to return to winning ways when he squares off with Stone, following his draw with Kingsley Ibeh back in October.
