Lindolfo Delgado to return in September

Rising super-lightweight sensation Lindolfo Delgado will look to extend his undefeated record when he returns to the ring in September.

The Mexican star will be part of a Top Rank event that takes place at the Casino Del Sol in Tucson, Arizona, and is headlined by a WBC super-featherweight title fight between Oscar Valdez and Robson Conceicao.

Delgado (12-0, 11 KOs) was last in action in June, earning a dominant eight round unanimous decision win over Salvador Briceno at the Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.

It saw the 26-year-old bank some vital rounds, having picked up stoppage victories over all 11 of his previous opponents leading to that.

Big things are targeted for Delgado, with his opponent for the bout in September scheduled to be announced in the coming weeks.
