Lourdes Juárez and Diana Fernández make 14-day pre-weigh-in

Lourdes Juárez vs. Diana Fernández

As stipulated in the regulations of the World Boxing Council super flyweight champion Lourdes ‘La Pequena Lulú’ Juárez and number one ranked Diana ‘La Bonita’ Fernández, underwent a pre-weigh in to monitor their weight in order to prevent sudden dehydration, two weeks before the fight they will hold on July 16 in Ciudad Juárez.

Juárez Trejo and Fernández Ortiz will face each other again, after their confrontation in 2017, which Lourdes won, becoming FECOMBOX national champion, so now it`s to dispute the highest distinction in boxing; the absolute title of the WBC.

From her training camp in Mexico City Juárez, logged 116.4 pounds, which is within the allowable limit.
Meanwhile, Fernández registered 117.8 pounds, also below the limit, two weeks before their championship bout.
