MTK Global Boxing Stars Shine in Kazakhstan
There were a number of impressive wins for several MTK Global fighters as they were in action in Kazakhstan on Friday.
The event was taking place in Almaty, with Hovhannes Bachkov, Abay Tolesh, Rakhat Seitzhan, Aidos Medet, and Bagdat Uaydayev all picking up victories.
Bachkov (2-0, 1 KO) produced a dazzling display, picking up a first round knockout win over previously unbeaten Binali Shakhmandarov (2-1-1, 2 KOs).
Tolesh (8-1, 5 KOs) was victorious after a hard-fought battle, beating Vsevolod Slipchenko (4-2, 1 KO) by majority after eight rounds, with the judges scoring it 77-75, 77-75, 76-76.
Seitzhan (5-0, 5 KOs) went the distance in his fight too, triumphing with a unanimous decision win against Serhii Soroka, with the judges scoring it 60-54, 60-54 and 60-52 after six rounds.
Medet (6-0, 4 KOs) continued his perfect winning streak, stopping Pavlo Tryputen (2-8-1) in round three, while Uaydayev (5-0, 1 KO) secured the first stoppage win of his professional career, picking up a third round TKO win against Kostiantyn Stadnyk (5-7-2, 2 KOs).
