MTK Global stars to compete on Black Flash shows

Three MTK Global stars are set to return to action over the coming weeks – when they compete on two Black Flash Promotions shows.

The first of which takes place at the Devonshire House Hotel in Liverpool on Friday 30 July, as former English super-flyweight champion and British super-flyweight title challenger Marcel Braithwaite returns to action.

Braithwaite (9-3) last fought in October, where he was involved in a fantastic fight against former world title challenger Jay Harris, while he also went up against current IBF flyweight champion Sunny Edwards in 2019.

Another Black Flash show then takes place at the Oldham Leisure Centre on Saturday 7 August, with female history-maker Ellis Hopkins taking part in her second professional bout.

Hopkins (1-0) became the first ever woman from the travelling community to turn professional when she defeated Borislava Goranova in her debut back in May, and now goes in search of another victory.

The card will also see the debut of St Helens rising star Adam Carberry, who looks to display the skills he has learned under the tutelage of his trainer, former multiple-time world title challenger Martin Murray.
