Muhammad Ali’s grandson Nico Ali Walsh signs with Top Rank

Nico Ali Walsh, grandson of the King of Boxing, Muhammad Ali, will make his professional boxing debut on August 14 on a card presented by Top Rank.

Top Rank leader Bob Arum was Muhammad Ali’s promoter in 27 fights and will be in charge of promoting the fights of Ali Walsh, who had 30 amateur fights showing qualities.

“I am doing what I love. Signing with Top Rank is a dream come true. I will have fun on August 14 and all the times I fight. Top Rank will give me the names, dates, and location, and I’ll have a great time. I am honored to continue the legacy my grandfather started. It is a responsibility that I do not take lightly, ”said Nico, Rasheda Ali’s son.

For his part, Bob Arum commented: “Nico’s grandfather was an incredible fighter. Hopefully Nico will emulate his success. He is a young man of great character, what one would expect of Muhammad Ali’s grandson.”
