Nicaragua Producing Judges & Refs Thanks to WBC Boxing University

The World Boxing Council, the Nicaraguan Institute of Sport and WBC Boxing University officially presented certification to judges and referees, who successfully concluded this seminar that prudently went ahead, during the Covid-19 pandemic.

 Thanks to the support of Bismark Morales and WBC President Mauricio Sulaimán, these lessons were timely, because as Bismark remarked: “Nicaragua is 50 years behind in boxing and for that reason there`s an imperative need to improve the system of judges and referees, so have true professionals ring officials.”

 He especially thanked the judges Jose Manzur and Omar Mintum, as well as one of the best referees in the world, Hector Afu, who shared their considerable knowledge and experience with the enthusiastic apprentices.

 Don Bismark Morales was clear in saying that Nicaragua gives boxing thanks to the WBC and especially remembering Don Jose Sulaiman, whom he considers a father and who taught him the  love of service to boxing.
