NORDINE OUBAALI vs. NONITO DONAIRE

On Saturday night in Los Angeles, Filipino Nonito Donaire will have a chance to capture the world bantamweight title, when he challenges World Boxing Council champion Nordine Oubaali the Pride of La Belle France, in a compelling cliff hanger that will be broadcast on Showtime.

In April 2013, Nonito Donaire suffered the first defeat of his magnificent professional career when he lost a twelve round unanimous decision to Guillermo Rigondeaux.

Over the years, Donaire has fought in different divisions, reaching the featherweight world crown. In 2018. Then he decided to drop two weight divisions to the 118-pound bantamweight limit, in a division in which he has once again shone.

It is possible that, if Nonito manages to defeat the talented champion Nordine, he could face the Cuban Rigondeaux in a rematch.

“Without a doubt right now, I am fully focused on winning the fight against Oubaali, but if everything goes to plan, I would like to avenge my loss against Rigondeaux.
