Alexis Arguello vs. Jim Watt

June  20th, 1981

The great Nicaraguan KO artist Alexis Arguello, conquered  the WBC lightweight championship defeating Jim Watt, from Scotland by UD over fifteen rounds. Jim retired from boxing after this fight . The action took place at the Empire Pool Wembley in London. The Referee was Arthur Mercante. The Judges were Kurt Halbach, Dick Young and Robert Desgain.
