American Curtis Cokes defeated South African southpaw, Willie Ludick with a fifth round TKO, successfully defending the WBC welterweight championship. The bout took place at the Memorial Auditorium in Dallas, Texas. And it concluded at the 34 seconds of the mentioned round, with Referee Lew Eskin’s intervention.
