On this day: Danny “Coloradito” Lopez was born

July 6^th, 1952

In Fort Duchesne, Utah, USA, Danny  “Coloradito” Lopez was born. He become an idol of Los Angeles, California, building a very successful career with 42 victories, 39 of them by KO and only 6 loses.  He was WBC featherweight champion and was managed by Howie Steindler and Ben Georgino. In 2010 he was  inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame at Canastota, New York.
