Undefeated Floyd Mayweather retained his WBC super featherweight championship by an eighth round TKO over Puerto Rican Carlos Gerena, in a bout that took place at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas. The Referee was Richard Steele. While the Judges were Chuck Giampa, Ken Morita and Daniel Talon.
