In Waco, South Carolina, USA, Floyd Patterson was born. Floyd would became a superstar of the ring. He conquered an Olympic medal as middleweight in Helsinki 1952. Then he would be heavyweight world champion.

He was coached by the legendary trainer, Cus D´Amato, shaping a record of 55 victories with 40 KO´s, 8 defeats and 1 draw. Floyd passed on May 11th, 2006, at the age of 71.
