Japan’s Hiroshi Kawashima defended the WBC super flyweight title, defeating Indonesian southpaw Boy Aruan, by TKO in the third round. Everything ended at 57 seconds of the mentioned round with the intervention of Referee Sonny Padilla. The Judges were Larry Hazzard, Rudy Jordan and Jose Medina.
