Welsh wizard Joe Calzaghe, who retired undefeated and was WBC super middleweight champion, defeated Germany’s Mario Veit by TKO in the first round. The bout took place at the Cardiff International Arena. The bout was stopped at one minute 52 seconds of the opener.
