Britain’s Lennox Lewis KO’d Poland’s Andrew Golota in the very first round. With this victory he defended the WBC heavyweight championship. The fight took place in a ring installed at the Caesar´s hotel of Atlantic City, USA. It all ended in a one sided hailstorm concluded at one minute and thirty five seconds. Joe Cortez was the Referee. The Judges were Marty Denkin, Chuck Hassett and Barbara Perez.
