On This Day: Rafael Orono Became the 1st WBC Super Flyweight Champ

In Caracas, Venezuela, during a promotion of Rafito Cedeño, local Rafael Orono defeated South Korean Seung Hoon Lee, by split decision becoming the first super flyweight champion. This division was created by the WBC. The fight took place at the New Circus. The Referee was Orlando Fernandez. The Judges were Yong Soo Chung and Ladislao Sanchez.
