Sugar Ray Robinson vs. José Basora
Scranton Stadium in Pennsylvania, USA – August 25th, 1950
Sugar Ray Robinson, considered by many as the best fighter in history, successfully defended his middleweight crown-or rather, the Pennsylvania Athletic Commission version of it, by stopping José Basora in the very first round. The fight was at the Scranton Stadium in Pennsylvania. It ended in just 55 seconds. The Referee was Johnny Kelly.
