Tony Canzoneri vs. Lou Ambers

The immortal Tony Canzoneri, who was three times world Champion, conquered the lightweight title defeating Lou Ambers, who was down in 3rd and 15th, by unanimous decision. The championship was vacant, as Barney Ross relinquished it. The bout took place at Madison Square Garden in New York. The Referee was the almost equally famous Arthur Donovan.
