Tracy Harris, the adopted son of the former heavyweight Champion Floyd Patterson, defended the WBC super bantamweight title, defeating Richard Duran by unanimous decision. The bout took place at the Hilton Ball Room in Reno, Nevada. The Referee was Mills Lane. The Judges were Keith MacDonald, Dave Brown and David Harris.
